Preventing Comand Power Saver Shut Down

can anyone actually sit and listen to the radio for more than 10 mins without the power saving function kicking in and turning the comand off. My heated seats are the same.
My old 2007 rclass I could get half an hour but in my present car the time is sooo short! Is it timed or based on battery level? Could it be the battery?

Depends how many auxiliaries you have running.

Heated seats and comand use alot of power.

A batter only holds so much juice and the system shuts down to make sure you don't flat and get stranded.
