Hi all
just thought I would post my solution to a problematic 'temp matic' PBU problem.
The problem (after lots of fault tracking)
The PBU was intermittent in sending ground signal via pressure switch to Klima so cold air was unreliable. PBU performed otherwise well when cold air not needed.
Quick fix Solution
I traced the wire from the PBU which sends the ground signal , intercepted it just behind PBu and added a small switch under the dash on the drivers side which grounds when closed. Hey presto cold air overide switch, cost = £3. Volume of cold is obviously now manual but is easily controlled by fan speed.
just thought others might be interested as PBUs seem a regular problem. Just waiting for some warm weather to use it in anger.
cheers Keith
