Hopefully someone out there will be able to help me. When I start my car up from "cold" I keep loosing the idle and the car cuts out. If I depress the throttle I bearly get any revs. When a couple of minutes has passed (or I have started the car a couple of times) everything is fine and the car runs great.

I am thinking I may need new plugs, If I do are they easy to replace? What ones are the best to go for?

I Have a C200 auto.

Thanks all

I think its more likely to be your cold start boost valve rather than the plugs.

Idle just got worse

Thanks Stu

Where is this valve located.

The problem has got a little morecomplicated now. When i try to drive off i hear the engine misfire and the revs die,but after a few mins it is ok again. this has only happened the last couple of days. could this valve still be the culprit.

Any help would be appreciated.
