Problems with amp

Good day fellow Mercedes lovers could really do with some help , I'm driving a s500 w221 2007 and I have a problem with my voice control unit and my audio sound amp , getting them repaired would be good but I haven't got any idea who or where to send it to .
Replacement unit could be a option also if anybody out there has any .
Please help because I cant listen to my wife singing anymore

on the 221 amps die often, a few send off to repair, (but none here have been successful), most replace it.

unfortunately these amps are **** on Quality and high on price pal but as Botus says , new is the only way to Guarantee a 100% fix , although a certain company can fix the issue with a warranty , they weedle out of the FOC repair everytime you return the unit under said warranty

BBA reman will "repair " them, but they always come back faulty, or fail again in 2-3 months. I feel they are just re flowing the boards.

Only option is to replace or buy second hand.

What is wrong with the voice control modules?

I'm not to sure as the voice activation mode is not something I use so maybe it has worked for a while I dont know but my Mercedes guy said they are both broken and need replacing
I have found 2nd hand units but the 221870 etc number is not perfect match some like 2 numbers different but I'm not sure if they will be compatible

the facelift ones fit and get a very mild jazz up of the graphics, can't vouch for the big amp but the small one is 100% plug and play

both big and small die for no reason whatsoever, (if you go secondhand you need to change the fan, makes the cam chain idler look durable)

there are at least 5 versions of the small one (just later parts... prob pretending they made them more reliable NOTE hardware version is actually the same from 2005 to 2012, its just pretend software and they all fit - so goodness know what they did), you can flash a facelift with the old software but no point it just ruins the better graphics... I had facelift one in mine for 3 years - we then had another bug and flashed the old software (didn't help, wish I didn't listen, I knew it wasn't the cause)

USA ones have the last digit one more than ours, I believe they fit too, Alex bought a USA one I believe
