Problems with S class

I own an S320 (new shape) registered 2000. Has anyone else had serious problems with the S class model. I can list about 6 very serious faults and numerous minor problems. Want to find outr what response people have been having from Mercedes about their problems.

It's never a good idea to buy the first of any new design. The first production year of C-Classes had problems, the same with the CL's and recently also with the new E's.

Usually the previous owners, if buying S/H, will have had them sorted within the 3-year warranty, but it seems you were unlucky.

I bought one of the last of the outgoing 129 SL's, in the hope that MB would have sorted all the niggles in the previous 13 years of production.

Unfortunately, whenever any brand-new model is released, especially with all new technology, as with the s-class, there are bound to be some faults and niggles that are not picked up in the ever decreasing test and development phases.
