PROBLEMS WITH S CLASS

I own an S320 (new shape) registered 2000. Has anyone else had serious problems with the S class model. I can list about 6 very serious faults and numerous minor problems. Want to find outr what response people have been having from Mercedes about their problems

Albert thinks...now what, looks again in book....30 year warranty against breakdown, free towing for 30 years, free car for 5 days each time, expenses etc. Wow....have I found gold here.
Olafs advice...A half dozen claims under this Mobilo will encourage them to sort you out. Its the only way. Just make sure you always break down away from home.
On a more practical term if you have the car on a lease you are obliged to maintain it according to the manufacturers recommendations as regards servicing etc. If you do that you fulfill the terms and condition of the lease. If that does not work then under a little known clause [in Ireland anyway but I think it is standard in UK too] the lessor is liable because the car is then termed not fit for the purpose for which it was leased. This is not tied into the manufacturers warranty. You can actually make it the leasing company's problem. You may also find the leasing company quite helpful.
