Programming WindowS?

I have read recently about Programming windows after a battery change?

What is programmable on windows? i have a w203 Coupe - i am hoping that i might be ablout to find out some other cool option out, maybe there is position sensing? or something?!

After a battery disconnect the one touch open / one touch close feature of the windows is lost. This needs to be reprogrammed by holding the relevant switch all the way down for 10 secs then all the way up for 10 secs.
The only feature with the windows you may not be aware of is to press and hold the unlock button on the keyfob whilst pointing it towards the front door handles. This opens all the windows which is useful in the summer. Conversely pressing and holding the lock button on the keyfob will close all the windows.

just tried this open window thing just because it sounded interesting! ;p

mine wont work? in my manual, it kind of suggests (i think) that you need to have the Summer opening function that you only get with the glass roof??

anyone have any ideas?

Putting the windows down and holding 10 secs and up,must be done with the ignition on.

;p tried this, and it worked once! when i went back to car ter it had stopped doingt again...

also when itworked i had to press it once to unlock and press again and hold, then when locking again press once and hold, when shutting the window, its a shame you cant have it shut fully with a press, instead of holding it?..
