Hi all

i just had first puncture repaired in one of the tyres of my car...
i was wondering... is it safe driving for 4-5 hours on motorways if tyre was punctured once?

sorry its silly question but just want to ask for safety reasons....

If the tyre was repaired by a profesional tyre company there should be no problem with it.

As long as its been repaired properly it should last the life of the tyre and not impact its performance at all.

These firms like Kwik fit are only allowed to fix tyres with punctures in the tread section, so it will be as said above quite safe.
Repairs are not allowed in the sidewalls

it was a small puncture in the tread section only and they fixed it.
tyre is in quiet good condition though.

i was just thinking that if i drive it for 4 hours continuously then can the heat create problem?

Dont worry the repair vulcanizes the inner part of the plug so it will never come out
