Putting chrome speedo ring's on

My C280....after doing a search and reading Plugger's way of getting the instrument's out taking the screw's out from under the steering colum, just how easy/hard is this to do?

Also how does the glass come off to get the ring's on, cheers.

Push the cluster out and unplug, when out you will see how the glass comes out, the rings make a huge difference, looks nice

Thanks....but do I have to remove these screws underneath the steering colum to get them out.
