Q: 8 pot merc wheels and bolts

Do 8 pot 8J merc wheels need extra long or longer than normal bolts? How do 8J wheels fit on a W124? good or bad?

I was looking out for a set of 8 x 16" 15-holes for my car but then I looked at tyre prices. They're double the price of an equivalent 15" tyre. If you can get 8 x 15" please let me know

I think 8s fit OK under the arches but the 500E, which had 8 x 16s as standard, had flared arches
