Question - 1998 S-Class Business Edition

I have gone through the Users Mannual and can't find any mention of how to lower the picnic/laptop table in the back of the front (LH) passenger seat.

Any ideas, please?

If it is the same as in the car I've just bought then I don't really know either. My one seems to be a bit hit and miss at latching itself up and then releasing again. Sometimes you pull the table right up and it releases, sometimes you have to reach underneath and pull the little T shaped arm out of the grooves. I suspect my spring is a bit weak.

Not sure there is an answer to that, it's just that I like things to work, that should work.
