Hi all, I'm new here, but on Saturday morning I will be the owner of a beautiful red 1979 350SL.

The car is generally in great condition, but I have a few quick questions:
- it seems to be missing the rear seat, does anyone know where I can buy/get one fitted? I guess I will also need seatbelts fitted.

- the wooden console needs to be replaced - the stereo seems to have been badly fitted - is there anywhere I can buy/get one fitted?

Thanks!

The rear seat was an option, and not a standard fitting and has always been that way up to around 1999.

Re console, all you can so is to advertize for one. You can fit any radio you like

Hi Khanmu,

Congratulations on your acquisition of your 107. Having the rear seats (jumpseats) fitted over here can be a costly affair. However, you could import a set from USA where they are rather common to obtain and have them shipped as a Sample Fabrics to avoid hefty import duties. Take look at these sellers of JUMPSEATS.
