i did it on my 280ce. you undo the nut, then turn the allen bolt as if undoing it. do it half a turn at a time then test by making sure the steering wheel returns to the centre line when moving and let go. if it doesnt, you are too tight and might lockup or damage the box. i did mine at the local halfords/b&q carpark, when they had closed. load of space to get it right off the roads.
