R-Class Wing Mirrors clicking when folding

Hi Guys
Can anyone offer any advice lately when I lock the doors and the mirrors fold they have begun clicking ( both of them).

I looked to see if I can see what the issue is however nothing obvious sticks out No pun intended

id say its the gears slipping , that could be because the hinge part is slightly stiff so it my be possible to use spray grease to ease them off
