I saw this message on one of the £50,000 signs that span the motorway.

These signs used to display much better information like:

Check your fuel
Fasten your seatbeat
Don't drink and drive
In town 50's plenty
etc.

If you didn't speak english to good you couldn't work out what the hell was going on.

Suppose you were a terrorist on your way to the G8 summit and you saw a sign,

G8 way to the G8 along the M8, M8
