thanks for the advice.

i managed to get in contact with someone who has the same model as mine who has completely renovated their suspension (where the above pic comes from).

the spriing doesnt need to be removed as already advised and i've also managed to find a supplier that will supply both sides for half the cost of 1 side from MB as i checked the other side last night and i can see some play there too....!
