Having dropped the subframe, in order to get at the corroded ADS lines and to refurb the subframe and suspension, i notice the front to rear fuel lines, flow and return, are very corroded. i contacted my local merc main dealer and the parts are now, unavailible from merc. So anybody have any idea's on where or how to get replacements? The tank end has a jubilee clip type push fit, but from what i can see, the engine end has a nut and thread connection on the passenger wing. I am making up the brake lines and ADS small hose lines, with new copper pipe, but never come across making up these larger diameter fuel lines?

Do not use copper for brake lines. It's illegal in many countries and can work harden and crack. Only use Cunifer.
For fuel lines make them up from scratch.
Find out what the fitting is and replace with new.

Have you tried the sl shop or a 3rd party like ECP.

Smart + others :)
Absolutely loads of parts are no longer available for the 129, being trying to source a heater matrix for one. :(

When i said copper brake lines, i meant Cunifer, the copper / nickel mix. So in the end i bought some 5/16 Cunifer pipe and a flaring tool and made my own fuel pipes using the old ones as a template. Thats all done and its time to put the sub frame and diff back in and reassemble the whole back suspension, the nice part!

Well done.

I did exactly the same, using external pipe bending springs on cunifer pipe.

Same for the 140's, its a PAIN. MB used to be really good for the old stuff, now they stop making stuff willy nilly, 208's etc all much newer things.

They will then suddenly startup a new batch of parts for things like 107's, but quadruple the price at the same time.

As above, re-make them in Cunifer :)
