R129 500SL Front Supension Bushes

Hi there has anyone replaced their front shock absorber upper bushes?

I've just been having a look around the car....it's nearing MOT time and I've noticed that both rubber bushes are cracked, so time to fix it!

Also I need to replace the shock absorber boots as they are beginning to split, so I figure I'll replace them at the same time.

The job looks simple enough, but just if anyone has any tips and also any torque values etc.

These are no problem to fit and torque settings are not critical on shock absorbers.
