r129 hood sequence

Hi,if i make any mistakes please forgive as it is my first try at this.
what is the correct sequence of soft top,mine seems to work fine until you go for a drive then try to put hood up,have to turn ignition off then back on to operate hood,has only started doing that this yeay i think,any help would be great,by the way if anyone needs anything answered about mot's i own a test station

It could be a number of things - the best thing would be to read the fault codes out - a possibility to do yourself if you have an earlier model.

A faulty speedometer signal to the roof module N52 could cause this to happen.

htanks stats for reply,took car into work today our diagnostic tech plugged it into a sun scanner and took out a gearbox dtc,no more found and did not return.
tried vehicle on autodiagnose tool,no dtc's in sections available,tried bosch kts 520 and although it lists comfort section it wouldnt actually go in.
suggestions on a postcard please!
