Hi all:) ,

I have a 300sl that shows up the yellow warning light on the dash and also blinking red lights on the rool over hoop button on the console lights up when taking corners or setting off fast. The lights then go out after a few seconds. This problem only started after the soft top was replaced by MB. All the ECU's and switches and sensors have been replaced (thankfully by the insurance) but the problem persist. Its now been to 2 main dealers and one specialist and no joy:!: ... please help? Thanks.

hi cohan
the roll sensors are located on on the rear suspension arms & can be a bit sensitive to adjustment if these have been replaced they may need adjusting slightly.
regards ted

the new issue i was not aware of is that the light only comes on when the hard top is on, the diagnostics says hardtop not detected - i suggested the sensors but that has already been look into... anyone have any idea what all this means?
I'd be grateful for help, my car has been in some garage or another for about 18 monhts now

there are around 20 sensors on the car. I think for starters I would manualy lock and unlock all 4 locking points and see what happens.
