R129 Service Cost

Just wondering if anyone knows roughly what a main dealer may charge for a service on my 1999 SL320. Showing 200 miles til service. It has done 56k and was last done at 46k in November 06 at main dealer. That was a A Service with a brake fluid change at the main dealer. Does that mean this one will be a B-serive?

Yes it will be a B service, some dealers are now giving a discount on car 6 years or older, I would ask and see what they say

Service and two back tyres. Damn run-flats. Should not get tyres from main dealer but was too busy to mess about. £500 for two tyres

Did you get any where with a quote for a B service. I am quite close to you (Airdrie and also run a SL320 97 which is due a B service in 3-4k miles. Would be interested to here how you get on.

Hi there

I called them but they did not call me back until yesterday and I was in court all day. Will try and get hold of them today but the service people are normally busy. Went to see local specialist and he is more than happy to do it, there is a couple of things up with my car and he seemed to know exactly what they are. Said he was be under half the main dealer, which he reckoned would hit four figures by the time the replace some suspension parts etc. Will keep you posted
