R129 SL500 Indicators not working

Hello

Wondering if anybody could offer any advice.

My R129 SL500 indicators do not work, but the hazard warning lights do.

The other functions of the steering wheel stalk appear to all be ok.

I have read some of the forum pages and a relay would appear to be the most probable cause, is there anything I should check before buying the relay?

Also the warning light on the dashboard has come on saying you have not got your seat belt on, whether you have or not including whether there is someone in the passenger sea or nott. I have owned the car for over 5 years and this light has never come on before. What I presume is the seat belt bleeper goes off aswell when you start the car.

The fault should be in the N10 relay, it could well be poor connection in the relay socket or a dry soldered joint in the relay. many resolder them up as the are expensive things to buy.

Take care when removing this relay as the pin sockets can pull out of their housings
