R129 soft top frame replacement

Hello,
I'm new to this forum and was hoping someone could give be some advice replacing a 1999 soft top for my R129. I have a complete treplcement roof and frame.

The current roof works great but the canvas has worn in a couple of areas. Last year I bought a roof including the frame.
The seller assured me it was for the last version of R129.

My question is. How difficult is it to replace the whole roof. There must be a procedure. As a minimum the following
must be disconnected
1) hydraulics, the replacement roof has these
2) The 2 roof pistons
3) 2 bolts attaching to car for each side.

There's some good stuff on youtube if the canvas is the only thing to be replaced but I couldn't find the same for the whole roof.
If someone could give advice it would be much appreciated.

Probably the alignment is going to be the biggest issue if you remove the frame. Not getting it perfectly aligned will create water leaks.
