R172 SLC300 Roof Fault

Strange one this, when I try to open the roof, the windows retract and the boot lid opens then everything stops. Wait for a few minutes and try again and the roof now completes the manouvre and fully opens then shuts the boot.
Again, when you want to put the roof back up, the boot lid opens and everything stops, wait a few minutes and it then closes the roof completely and closes all the windows.

Any experts?

Boot lid limit switch probably has a bit of corrosion on it. Needs star to test which switch is not being actuated then a good clean and test
