Could anyone give me guidance on removing/replacing the drivers side sill please. The sill on my 2012 Slk250 Amg Sport Cdi Blue efficiency is not sitting correctly behind the drivers side front wheel. I can push it in, but it doesn't want to clip in to place. I suspect a broken clip or something, but don't want to break any more clips by trying to pull the sill off.

I might find a few pictures also I recon a clip is missing.
On each rocker panel there are clips as follows:
Three between the front tire and door.
Five or six, I don't remember exactly, at the door sill.
Two between the door and rear tire.

They can be popped loose with a plastic pry bar from the gap between the fender and rocker panel. There is a rubber trim piece there that is probably deteriorated so be careful. When I got the ones at the fenders loose the ones in the door sill just popped off.

They are also pretty easy to break. So get a few to replace them before you do the job.
