R230 - 350 SL Newbie

Hi Folks,
Thanks to the pandemic, I no longer have a need for a large Volvo estate so, I've sold it and treated myself to a car I've lusted after for years, a Mercedes 350 SL. My initial impressions are , it's a nice car, no rust or dents, low mileage, and it's quick, I've spotted as few things in need of sorting out, but that's only to be expected with older S/H cars. No doubt I'll be seeking your assistance in the near future.

Thanks for all the reply's, there were far more than I expected, that's encouraging for a start. My location is "Belper" Derbyshire, it's a smallish town 8 miles north of Derby and 10 miles south of Matlock along the A6. The town has many historical connections with the early industrial revolution of the textile industry. in fact the house I live in was once owned by Sir Richard Arkwright (he didn't live in it) It's a peaceful rural area where nothing much bad happens, although we have had a small number of incidence that have made national headlines in the past. Regarding Pics, it has rained or snowed virtually every day since I bought the car + of course the lockdowns, I've not really been able to take any yet, but when I do, I'll post some.
