R230 500SL suspension level link rod

Hi, apparently I need a couple of front suspension links that set the level of the car, I've been given a part number A2303200089. They seem to be plastic and both have broken.

Been told Mercedes don't make that part anymore? Is there an updated part number or can anyone please recommend where to source these?

Hi, part number is correct and your dealer is right they are no longer available.

who told you need one? are you having suspension height issues? Ive never known one to fail.

If you do really need one, just make a new one with two ball joints and some threaded bar. Similar to lowering links.

The garage, independent Mercedes specialists, said it's a very common problem and can't understand why Mercedes stopped supplying them. The car had been stationary for a few weeks and had settled a bit. The garage said all 4 were broken and they were able to source the rear ones but not the front. Thanks for your help.
