R230 AC condenser

I need to replace the AC condenser on my 2004 SL500, any recommendations on good makes welcome.

Never had any issues with Nissen and they're reasonably priced too.

I have A2205001054 for all non AMG Black Series irrespective of age or 350 or 500.

Checked both versions of EPC I use and get same answer.

Thank you, looks like the condenser is going to cost about £100 with delivery. Do you know if this is a DIY install?

Not sure but can't see why not (aside from needing it professionally regassed at the end).
I did a Saab one with no issues on my own.
You may need to remove the radiator as part of it.

And you will need Star to re set the A/C system I seem to remember on mine. I had a Valeo one fitted. Paid an independent to do the job because it had to be re gassed and re- set

An indy is an option if I can get it all done for under £300. The compresser is £100, a regal is £80, so maybe a couple of hours labour should do it. I will have to google for instructions and see how it's done.

Change the dryer as well.

Be warned, it can be a PITA to seperate the rad pack on an R230.

Found the drier, part number A220 830 00 83.
