sorry it is phrased as such.. i have a euro RHD car with a fitted audio 30 unit , but now in posession of a comand system ready to be fitted over the weekend.

You prise out the the side covers to the console from the rear, seats down to lowest setting, and they unclip and come out.
Underneath the rolled edge along the console sides the are screws, remove the 3 smaller ones each side,one rear inset, one center and one at the front higher up. then lift the rear of the center panel by the roof switch and lift out after un clipping the top edge by prising forward, the ash tray must be removed or it will not lift out
