R230 gearshift lever

Hello all,
My SL i suspect still has the ABS (which becomes brittle with age) gear lever fitted. Rather not have it break and be stuck in park so looking if any members have had this lever replaced and where the replacement metallic lever was sourced from ?.
Any help much appreciated.

There are several possible different sizes of interlock lever as I understand it. You'll need the correct one for your car.

I'm currently stuck in a supermarket carpark with the car stuck in park. I know this is a common problem and many threads on it but i'm struggling to read through them on my phone! Is there anyway to get it out of park so I can get the car home? I have tried bashing and jolting the gearstick...
