You wouldn't believe it, but my SL55 has developed a water leak, roughly 5 years ago with just a dribble starting in the boot seal.
First was to act quickly with the Television repair sequence which basically stopped it leaking where it was coming in (around the lower screen seal) Though there has always been a leak coming in under the C pillars. I resealed the C pillars as with Television's video, however it never stopped the leak under the C pillars. It's never been enough water to work its way any further than the load cover area. I fitted a new boot seal about a year ago. I've used the rubber expanding and softening product's, but still get this annoying drips mainly on the off side C pillar. After some super heavy rain 2 days ago I put the SL55 in the garage (so the Missus could use it today and fill up with Esso very cheap fuel in preparation for @MissyD on Sunday) to check any water ingress and found another water entry point.
This one was dripping inside the car down on to the plastic trim on the same side as the boot leak. I have taken a few pictures of the drips and where they drip from.
Can any body help with what can be done to stop the water in this area. Or is it time for new roof seals?
These is the only 2 sections where she leaks.

This section is the inside top of the C pillar.

And where it drips to.

This one is the inside the boot under the C pillar.

This is where the drips drop and run down, inside the boot, the water tends to dry out before going any further. It's a very slow drip, but annoying.
Hope someone can shed some light.
Oh by the way, it's for sale ;)

I would suspect the roof seals. I'd be tempted to tape up roof joints and play a hose over the area - if no leak you have the answer. The best way in these circumstances is a smoke test which you can do yourself. Always shows up annoying minor leaks. There's nothing like an R230 for leaks is there?

That's a great idea, thank you, never gave the smoke test a thought. My neighbour vapes, so will use him :) it'll cost me a beer or 4
I think it might be the seal that goes across the roof between the rear screen and the middle of the roof?
