R230 SL 350 Instrument cluster change

Good Evening All

I’ve fitted a used cluster unit to my SL 350 having tried to have the original repaired but with no luck.
The mileage isn’t showing, is it possible to have the mileage synchronised. I was informed, I would have to buy a new cluster and that’s if MB still make them.
Any help greatly appreciated

The original mileage will be on a ECU. I would think
the new to you cluster can be set to read that data.
