I had an issue recently where the roof on my R230 SL went down as normal, but would not go back up - showing 'Visit Workshop.' Not great!
Fortunately, after waiting 15 minutes or so and re trying, it went back up.
A Star diagnostic threw up fault code B1197 - S69/1 closed limit switch (right pin) and S69/11 raised/lowered limit switch (switching stauts is implausible)

S69/1 is on the front windscreen rail anmd S69/11 is in the offside C pillar area.

I asked my MB dealer about obtaining replacement switches, but am still waiting for an answer. Do anyone know if these microswitches be bought separately and replaced easily?
Many thanks.

Try cleaning with contact cleaner first is what I'd be doing

Smart + others :)
Limit switches rarely fail, I’d be taking it to a merc indie to check. Too many faults to be accurate with that read.
