The SL500 R230 has been ousted from the garage for a week or so, and I have a spare Solar charging pad that plugs into the OBD socket in order to keep battery topped up. Sounds like a good idea, but how will the R230 react ?
Will the charger charge the convenience (Boot) battery ?, The starter (Bonnet) battery ?, both ?, whichever it feels needs it most ?, neither ?, or is it likely to cause more problems than its worth ?
