As per thread title. I have now owned the car 5 months, and have never really bothered with this. Lumbar support never worked in my old SL and I never really cared about it. The seats are supremely comfortable without it. But it is the only thing not working on the car, so I would like to see if it is an easy fix.
The other day I was idly playing with the controls as you do, and suddenly to my surprise it started working, both sides bolsters and lumbar support on driver and passenger sides. Then it stopped working and deflated.
Next time I tried, (after turning off the car) the lumbar did not deflate. Finally after a couple of days I have made it deflate, so we are OK.
So I have done some Internet reading round this, and there is a pump (like the 230). SO I assume there is a leak somewhere and the pump is timing out ? In the 230 once the pump timed out, it never worked at all, which is what is confusing me. And if there is a leak, how come it worked fine, (for a while)
Sorry for the long post, has anyone else experienced this ? Any hints, tips ? Or is it a job for a Star equipped indy.
