R320 strange electrical goings on

Hi all, my R320 has a strange problem, every once in a while the drivers side passenger door and the boot will not respond to the keyfob, completely dead, not lock or unlock,,,not independantly but always together, the other doors work fine,,,just that particular passenger door and the boot, ive tried changing the boot fuse, no change,,,

its like they are connected somehow, maybe a wire that runs through them both...dont know

i thought it might be a failing battery, but why only down that right side

any help clearly appreciated
