rad compatability

Hi Folks,
I have a 124 300ce auto petrol saloon that has a leaking rad.
I also have a 124 250 manual diesel saloon of the same year not doing anyhting in a garage on a sorn with a rad that was a year old this time last year.
Will the resourcefulness of the germans mean I can use the rad from the manual diesel in my Auto Petrol ?


I asked this question B4 but the link to use their vin numbers to match the cars didn't give me the info.

Automatics usually have a gearbox cooler loop with ATF going through part of the radiator.

the water cooling system layout is entirely different for both vehicles unfortunately
