Radiator Fan Always on (even when the engine is off)

Right guys, hope everyone is well.

I'v acquired an E220d w211 (2009) and have an issue with the radiator cooling fan constantly running even when the engine is turned off, this eventually will drain the battery.

After a bit a of research, I have replaced the cooling temp sensor and the A/C pressure sensor, this has had no change on the issue.

Can anyone advise what could be the issue please.

I don't have access to a STAR scanner i'm afraid

All the gas came out, but haven't had it re-gassed yet

should this be an issue though, as fan kicks in even if the key is in my hand, even if the car is locked

If the fan is on 24/7 engine off and on then its likely to the be the fan controller, which is part of the fan.
