Hi all

I am having a few problems with my radiator fan, it is not coming on.

I have changed the temp sensor and the relay.

I have changed the ELECTRIC COOLING FAN MODULE too but it is a 2004 module and my car is the 2000 modal. Do you think that will make a difference ?

is there any thing else i can do or have to do.

Cheers

Mark

There could be a difference but i don't believe so! the fan is controlled by the engine ecu, could be a idea to get it put on a diagnostic and see if theres any fault codes in there!!

that's weird then!! if you get a open circuit on the cooling fan it will put a fault code in off,"open circuit to suction fan" so i wouldn't think you have a wiring fault!!! maybe the fan modules are different, if you can wait untill the morning i can check on epc for you!!

Going back to this thread now Mark after the pm,s, no i dont!! i would have to see the car! you have, 1, a wiring fault from the ecu to the fan control module, 2, you have bought a bad control unit! would need to have it on a star machine to see what actual vaules the engine ecu are showing!!
