Hi friends,

I have Mercedes E220 CDI W211, year 2007, phase II with 170 hp engine
My fan runs at full speed when ignition on (engine off)
All wires, coolant temperature sensor, AC pressure switch, fuses and relays are ok
The PWM signal from ECU to the fan controller is 2.24 V (green/blue wire); is this voltage ok ? I know it should be lower but I need the exact value
I also need to know from which component comes the green blue wire (see attached photo) pluged in B1 on the Driver SAM
Your help is really appreciated friends
Nice day

Looking at that pic that blue green wire does not look stock - esp the connector is not very MB esque.

hopefully someone with the same
car could post a pic
of thier sam unit, or
perhaps a google search - images

I agree, would be worth following the cable. Possibly permeant ignition on power to the fan?
