Hi Malcolm the vin number is WDB2020202

Look at your Vin I think that this could be water in the Fan module behind the front bumper near side, its the start of water running down the cables into the module, the next Fault that comes up is the the fan will run all of the time

We have had a few during this rainy weather of late.

Maybe someone else can come up with an alternative remedy.

If you dont have an overheating problem and the water level is normal, as you say - not loosing water, then the sonsor is defective.

Eric that just is not true the fan module shorting can turn this on. When this module is complely gone the fan does not shut down and the level light stays on.

Check out the wiring diagram Malcolm. I may be wrong but dont think so. I will await your reply. I dont want to make a mistake. Been through it twice and I still see the level sensor as being at fault albeit it might be a wiring problem. I dont see a connection of any importance with the Aux fan Module?:?:

I suggest Eric that you check the wiring diagrams out as i have sucessfully given the answers on the last two faults of this nature.

The same fault on a 210 shuts it down completely, are you going to say that that the aux fan on this car cant shut it down.
