Hi There,

I bought a 2001 C320 just before Christmas. Its a fantastic car and I can't wait to go out and drive it everyday. Not the same with the Avensis beforehand.

My dealer gave me the service history, a brand new shiny key and owners manual but they didn't have the instructions for the CD / Radio. I have figured most of it out but would like to know if there is a downloadable manual or if I have to order on from MB.

Can someone help me please

Thanks

Hi trainer

You don't give any details of the CD-radio unit: make, model, etc. In my experience owners manuals are available in downloadable form but most are from sources that demand a small fee. If you persist in your search you can usually find a source, often the maker's own website, that does not demand a fee.

Hi Guys,

Thank you for your help so far. I have tried the site you recommended Malcolm but they only do the owners manual not the Radio instructions as far as I can tell.

Phil, the model as far as I know is a Mecedes Benz Audio 10 with cassette. There is a 6 CD mutichanger in the glovebox. I am not sure where to look for further detaills on the unit itself.

I have tried looking on the internet and even paid for a download prior to joining this site and ended up with instructions for a different model.

Any suggestions?

Hi trainer

I don't know if the following link will be of use but this website offers a user guide (PDF format) for an Audio 10 radio CD for about a fiver. Apparently several manufacturers make an Audio 10 for Mercedes.

Thanks Phil.

This was the site I downloaded from prior to joining the forum. Although the title of the file was right the instructions were for a different model.

Where would I find the model number? Do I have to remove it from the dash?

Thanks

Hi trainer

I would have thought the name (and make) would be prominently displayed on the face of the unit. I went in search of a manual for my incar system and found a copy I could download foc. It would help to know which manufacturer produced your Audio 10 but I guess that will be printed on part of the unit which is not normally visible.

Thanks Phil,

Followed your link but I couldn't open the file. I have found a similar unit on ebay. It appears according to German ebay that it is actually a becker unit

Part No. 203 820 16 86.

I have tried to followed leads to various sites on electronics etc but still no luck. May end up bidding on a cheap head unit if necessary.

Thanks again for your help

Thanks,

The link is for an Audio 10 CD. I have the one with the cassette and the 6 slot CD changer in the glovebox.

I might be being a bit picky trying to fing the exact match but it would be good to get it right.

Jim,

Just opened your e-mail. The instructions are the same as in the link from speedybiker.

I will just have to wander this earth searching for the Audio 10CC instructions until my time comes...
