Radio Code

I have recently changed the battery on my wifes ML270cdi and consequently the radio needs a code to operate. I cannot find the radio code card, does anyone know the procedure for regaining access to the radio. Please help, my wife is giving me grief as she cant listen to her precious Robbie Williams CD's.

Your MB dealer will have it on their data base.

If that fails some have it on the back of the radio itself....
You may laugh but it was on mine and MB didnt have on database either!!!!
( hmmm im not sure if i removed the sticker now???? )

Raj, almost as daft as from 2000 ish the units are coded once from new.

the dealer where the car was first registered will have it.

if you go via another dealer they will charge you.

ps make sure you write it down this time, perhaps inside cover of radio manual
