Radio code

I have recently changed the battery on my wifes X reg A class. The radio is asking for the security code, but she does not have it in her paperwork. Where could I go to find it?

Tried to get my code from MB Taunton, told that code not on computer so would have to put on star. Seems that Taunton now comes under Exeter and Plymouth so not as helpful as used to be.

It has always been in the Exeter group, they are helpful in Exeter, but do know me well. this group was second in the best dealer ratings

I have not been into the Taunton branch and find it hard to believe that the car must be plugged into STAR, were they telling porkies as everyone else has got it from the data base.

Maybe it a new cash raising scheme, then while plugged in they can tell you that you need some new big end shells at the same time

Even if i had the money to help with the dealers profit margins i still think i would rather help my local indi. At £110 per hour MB charge my Wife could not afford to live in the style that she expects (and me).

Someone must after all the help and advice you give. Mind you if i didn't have a Wife maybe i could answer some more questions. Strange how they can always find you more important things to do.
