radio compatability

I have a merc c180 1995 and the radio just has mercedes classic on the front. It is radio cassette player, and i'm wondering weather i can attach a sony cd changer, and if i can is it straight forward

not straight forward at all I'm afraid

the only compatible stuff will be becker or alpine, and even then you'll have to check.
The relatively good news is they come up on e-bay a fair bit. The bad news, as I've found, is they don't all work.
