New poster here - apologies if I've put this in the wrong place.
I've had a 2017 E-Class estate for 6 weeks, and the radio stopped working last week. The rest of the functions (media/sat nav) are also slow. It went into the local Mercedes dealer, and they ran the usual diagnostics and tried the software updates.
They were unable to fix it on the day, and said it was one of two things:
The DAB module - replacement cost £900 plus labour
The Head Unit - replacement cost £2300 plus labour
Am I out of order in thinking that a minimum of £1000 to fix a radio is daylight robbery?! Any ideas/suggestions gratefully recieved!
