Radio not turning on

Hi. Just bought a w212 E220 bluetec 2015. The radio stopped turning on. The Navi, Tel, Media and other options work fine, just the radio does not turn on or become selected on the screen. It worked for a few days after buying it, but just stopped yesterday after listening to a CD. Anyone see this before or know what to do? Thanks in advance.

Possibly an amp issue ? From a trader ?

Take it back to the seller.

Bought from a used car dealer. Will ask if they will do something about it. I think that the amp is in the head unit as it is the basic sound system. So maybe a new head unit will be required.

Update: I found that holding down the power button for the comand/radio for 10 seconds seems to reset it and the radio functionality comes back

ok good but you still get warranty under the consumers act 2015 , so id cover the bases and register the fault with the garage , that way they cant squirm out of it if the fault returns as you made them aware of it during the warranty period
