Radio Reception in A class / Audio 10

Hi All

Newbie here. Just acquired a beautiful 02 A Class. Great car, but I'm not that impressed with the reception on the Radio - it won't pick up half the stations our previous Ford KA would, and with somes of the ones it does pick up there are regular bursts of interference when on the move.

Any thoughts / ideas?
Can't see an external antenna - where is it internally? I read in another post about some models having amps fitted in the rear trim - is this the case here?

I think i saw somewhere that its fitted in the rear roof spoiler.
Might be worth checking the connections at the rear of the radio.

Yeah, probably a good diea re: the connections.
How do I slide it out - do I need some blaupunkt Keys or something. I'll have a look over the weekend.
