Raditor Light

I just got a 1990 SL 300 .I drove it about 20 miles and when i stop the raditor light come on and then goes off. The car is running at 80c it is not hot. The windshield bottle is also empty and that light came on once. Could it be that the windshield bottle being empty cause both lights to come on Thanks in Advance

Your windshield bottle warning light is separate from your cooling system so wont cause any other warning lights.

I filled the windshield washer bottle(half full that is another story) and it stopped the radiator light from coming on Thanks

I had a similar thing happen on a 190e that I had, I swapped the wires around and it worked ok since
