Is it ok to turn the auto rain-sensing wipers to "on" and just leave them? I'm told, but some, that one must turn them "on" when it start raining - which seems to me to defeat the purpose of having auto rain-sense fitted.
They go off when you turn off the ignition and need to be turned back on each time you start the car. If they didn't switch off you could have a nasty accident in a car wash.
